Ridgeland Public Works Wins First Place Local Government for Environmental Leadership

The Ridgeland Public Works Department was recognized at a recent Mayor and Board of Aldermen meeting for winning First Place Local Government at the Keep Mississippi Beautiful annual meeting. Eligible applicants for a Keep Mississippi Beautiful Organization Award must show successful results in one of the following environmental leadership areas: litter prevention and cleanup, beautification and community improvement, and finally waste reduction and recycling.
