Alderman Kevin Holder,
Ward 3
First, I would like to thank everyone who participated in my campaign and voted me in to the office of Alderman Ward 3. My experience in public office is limited, but I feel that my time serving on Ridgeland’s Contractors Board of Adjustment and Appeals has given me a head start on working with individuals and companies in the City. During my time on the Contractors Board, I realized that every decision made by the Board of Aldermen affects every aspect of my life as well as everyone in the City. I wanted the best decisions to be made for my family, my business, and the people living within our City.
My business, Gulf States Electric, is located in the City of Ridgeland. We opened our doors in 1994 as an electrical service provider and a new construction and remodel electrical contractor for commercial and residential property owners. We work in the Tri-County area and also on the Gulf Coast doing remodels and new construction for businesses and homeowners.
Not only does my business keep me busy, but my two children keep me very active. My wife, Pamela, and I have been married for 18 years and we have two great children, Tyler who is 15, and Rebecca who is 10. We are heavily involved in tournament softball, and I am also an Assistant Scout Master of my son’s Boy Scout Troop. We are active members of Church of the Highlands where I work with the youth program, 24-7, and I am also a Deacon.
If, at any time, you have questions or concerns about our City, please do not hesitate to contact me either by e-mail or phone. I will always try to get back with you as soon as I can. |
