Upcoming Rec and Park Programs and Events

Celebrate America Balloon Glow is scheduled for Friday, July 3 at Northpark Mall field.  The event starts at 6 p.m. with food, family games, and lots of entertainment.  Hot air balloons will be fired at sunset.  Award-winning recording artist, Diamond Rio, will perform followed by a fireworks display. 

50's Plus meets on the first Thursday of every month at 11:30 a.m.  Bring a large covered dish to the Ridgeland Recreational Center at Old Trace Park and enjoy food, fellowship and fun! For a reservation, call Lynda at 601-856-6876.

Upcoming Community Events in Ridgeland

Family Story Time at the Ridgeland Library will be Saturday, June 27 at 10 a.m. 

Group Bike Rides take place on Fridays at 6:15 p.m.  Cyclists may ride in either a beginner or advanced group. These rides are free and open to the community.

School News

Registration for the fall is taking place over the summer.  Call the schools for office hours.

Meet the Teacher at Ann Smith Elementary will be Monday, August 10 from 4 - 6 p.m.

Meet the Teacher at Highland Elementary will be Tuesday, August 11 from 4 - 6 p.m.

First day back to school is August 12 for Madison County schools.
