All-American Softball Star Recognized

Pictured L-R: Haylie Best and Mayor Gene McGee. Best was recognized at the July 15, 2014 Mayor and Board of Aldermen meeting at Ridgeland City Hall. Haylie Best has been selected as one of 48 players from across the country to play on the Scout Sports All-American Fast Pitch Softball Team, and she is the only participant from Mississippi. She will compete August 8-10, 2014 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Haylie is the daughter of Jim and Debbie Best and lives in Ridgeland.  She will be a sophomore at Madison Ridgeland Academy. Ridgeland officials are proud of her accomplishments and wish her the best of luck in Albuquerque. She will represent Ridgeland and Mississippi well.
