Trick or Treat Night
The Ridgeland Police Department offers free reflective shoe stickers to use while Trick or Treating. Drop by the station located at 115 West School Street to pick up enough for your family. Ridgeland Police also recommend the use of bright flashlights and wearing reflective clothing.
If you are staying home on Trick or Treat night, turn your front door or porch light on if you are accepting Trick or Treaters to your door. Turn your porch light off when you are ready to call it a night or you run out of treats, whichever comes first!
If you are out Trick or Treating, only go to the doors of homes that have their front door or porch light on. Please call it a night by 8 p.m. or 9 p.m. at the latest. Put safety first and wear reflective clothing or glow wrist bands and carry flashlights to better see where you are going and to be easily visible to drivers.
