National Day of Prayer
All over our country, citizens of the United States will be gathering in public venues to pray for America and its leadership, in observance of the annual National Day of Prayer. Held on the first Thursday of May, people of all faiths are invited to unite together and pray during this event that began over 65 years ago.
The City of Ridgeland will host their annual National Day of Prayer event at 12 noon on Thursday, May 2 in the Ridgeland City Hall garden, located at 304 Highway 51. The public is invited to pray with fellow citizens, elected officials, and local pastors for our community, state government, our nation and it’s military. We will also have music from the Ridgeland High School Choir and bagpipes played by our Public Works Director, Mike McCollum.
