CITY OF RIDGELAND RECREATION AND PARKS ANNOUNCES UPGRADES AT FRIENDSHIP PARK

RIDGELAND, MS – The City of Ridgeland Recreation and Parks is excited to announce the recent upgrades to the walking path at Friendship Park. Thanks to a grant from the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks Recreation Trails Program, totaling $90,000, the City contributed just $18,023 to resurface the mile-long walking trail for the first time since 2005.

These improvements are vital for enhancing the quality of life for Ridgeland residents, encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle. In addition to the walking trail, the parking lot has been resurfaced using budgeted funds. We invite everyone to enjoy the revitalized space and enjoy these great enhancements.
