2022 TOPSOCCER JAMBOREE WAS A BIG SUCCESS

RIDGELAND, MISS. – Over 350 participants and 500 volunteers gathered at Freedom Ridge Park in Ridgeland on October 19th for the 2022 TOPSoccer Jamboree. Participants from 5 to 18 years old with disabilities were partnered with high school and college volunteers for a day in the park to enjoy soccer events.

The 2022 TOPSoccer Jamboree was a first experience for many and an exciting return for those who last participated in 2018. Due to extreme weather and COVID, the event did not take place in October for the previous 3 years.

Cameron Arcemont of the TOPSoccer organization partners with Ridgeland Recreation and Parks to host this day of soccer events for persons with disabilities. TOPSoccer league information can be found at topsoccerms.com.

The City of Ridgeland Recreation and Parks department also provides the following programs for persons with disabilities: HOOPS Basketball and Miracle League Baseball.
