THE CITY OF RIDGELAND RECEIVED THE HIGH RATINGS FOR WATER SYSTEM

RIDGELAND, MS – The City of Ridgeland has received the highest rating from the Mississippi Department of Health for Ridgeland’s drinking water system. The City received an overall rating of 5.0 out of 5.0 for technical capacity, managerial capacity, and financial capacity.

A lot goes into the process to ensure that quality drinking water is in place for the citizens of Ridgeland. Ridgeland’s team that conducts the daily work at the tanks and well, maintaining that the water lines and meters remain fully functional, customer service, billing and finance, all play a major role in this achievement.
“Thank you to the Mayor and Board for remaining diligent in the budgeting and remaining committed to the importance of quality water,” said Alan Hart, Director of Public Works. The report noted that “It is clear that the City takes pride in their water system.”
