Court Services

Municipal Court Services are located at 115 West School Street, adjacent to the Police Department Building. To obtain information about traffic ticket costs, to schedule a court date, or to pay fines, you may call 601.853.2001, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.


Court Schedule

In an effort to better serve the public’s needs, Court proceedings are held on two days of the week.

  • Pay Reviews – Monday at 8:30 a.m.
  • Traffic Court – Monday at 1:30 p.m.
  • Initial Appearances – Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
  • Pretrial Conference – Tuesday at 1:00 p.m.
  • Trials – Tuesday at 2:15 p.m.
  • Preliminary Hearings – Tuesday at 2:15 p.m.
  • Special Hearings – Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.

Collision Reports

The public can obtain copies of collision reports by going to ms.gov/dps/crash_reports. Copies of accident reports and record checks may also be obtained at the two pay windows inside the Court Services building. Each report copy costs $20.

Fingerprinting

Fingerprints are $20 for two cards.  $5 for each additional card.  There is no charge for Ridgeland residents with valid identification.
Wednesday – Friday: 8:30am-11:30am and 1:30pm-4:30pm.

Amnesty Program

The Ridgeland Police Department in conjunction with the Ridgeland Municipal Court and the prosecutor’s office with the City of Ridgeland conducts an Amnesty Program for people with outstanding contempt of court warrants for unpaid fines. Fines could be due to traffic violations, misdemeanors, or criminal offenses. The Amnesty Program will be held in the fall and in the spring every year.
